Integrated
Services Digital Network
(ISDN) is used by the home-user and the corporate world because
the price is reasonable and the performance is good. ISDN has two
channels 1B and 2B, or 64K and 128K. If the through-put of data
is less than 64K, then the line will travel at that speed. If the
data is 112K, then the 1B and 2B channels will bond to increase
the bandwidth to the full 128K bandwidth allowed.
